![]() ![]() All these make the location of the College an ideal place for studying. In addition, it is the door to the world’s great wildlife refuges including Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire. My sister just got her an accounting degree not too long ago and loved it she's working for a great company she had to do a couple of moves. The College was established in 1978 jointly by the Governments of the United Republic of Tanzania and Germany also known as FRG-Federal Republic of Germany “West Germany”, under the name of the Technical College Arusha (TCA).The College is located at the Central Business District of the Arusha City which is the Northern Tanzania’s centre of agriculture, commerce, trade and tourism.Arusha City is also the Head Quarter of the East Africa Community and is the central point in Africa between Cape Town and Cairo. It is surrounded by famous mountains such as Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. I think you should stick with your degree give this some time before you make such a move. You're going to make crap money at first. You would have to go to trade school to try to learn service. I'm fortunate I work for a school district now but I'm still doing HVAC adjust work for the district it's easier than being out in the field. I have an autoimmune disorder that has made this very tough at times. Do you have physical stress along with mental stress in this business. Your day is that are pretty good so filling the days that are complete misery. Equipment gets installed in ways that you can't even hardly work on it. You're going to be in hot and comfortable environments may be working in extreme cold. You're just starting out and maybe need to switch employers. They have many days that I regret being in this business. Thank you to anyone who offers any help or advice on this post! Any thoughts on Family owned business vs large company vs commercial? (not sure if the last two are basically the same.Does this seem feasible? Or would I most likely have to dedicate all my time if I were to go to school? What would your advice be on this, as I still would most likely have to keep my current 9-5 until I have income. It seems there are some people that recommend schooling first and then some that say entry as an apprentice.Has anyone heard of this type of career switch before?.I worked in restaurants from age 15-24 when i graduated. I know working in a restaurant isn't the same type of physical labor, but I can't help but think of how much happier I was back then, and how accomplished I felt after work. I hate corporate environment and I miss doing physical labor. I have been an accountant with a bachelor's degree for a year and a half now, I hate it. I have been looking through this sub for a bit now and I have a few questions I would love help on.Īlso just to note, I live in Tampa, Florida so I assume there is quite a demand in HVAC.
